Senior Planner - Resource Consents

About the opportunity

Our team of Planners work on a wide array of captivating rural lifestyle subdivisions and consenting projects, spanning both commercial and residential developments. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, fostering collaborative efforts to offer premium technical guidance to applicant's and our thriving community.

As a Senior Planner, you'll leverage your resource management expertise, offer expert guidance to applicants, manage application processes, and clearly communicate outcomes. You'll also contribute to the growth of our team by mentoring Planners and Graduate Planners, helping them expand their skills and advance professionally.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A tertiary degree in planning, resource management or a related field
  • Extensive experience in resource management with full membership, or eligibility to become a full member of the NZ Planning Institute
  • You will have excellent communication skills
  • You will also pride yourself on being self-managing and innovative
  • A current NZ Driver Licence, with capability to travel around the district
