Contract Supervisor - Roading

This full-time permanent role presents a unique opportunity to support the delivery of essential roading services across one of New Zealand's most diverse and fast-growing regions.

In this role, you'll:

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery and compliance of road maintenance and renewal contracts.
  • Review contractor estimates, validating monthly claims, and auditing completed works.
  • Conduct site inspections and field testing to maintain technical standards.
  • Monitor traffic management and health & safety compliance.
  • Support emergency response efforts and asset handovers for capital works.

What you'll bring:

  • A NZ Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar (or be working towards one).
  • 5+ years of experience in road maintenance, construction, or sealing.
  • Hands-on experience in contract supervision or project delivery.
  • Familiarity with Thinkproject, AWM, and field data collection tools.
  • A current full NZ driver licence and the ability to work in and around the district.
