Infrastructure Field Officer - Corridor

Mangawhai, New Zealand

  • Full-time role based in Mangawhai or Dargaville with WFH options.

Join our Roading team as an Infrastructure Field Officer (Corridor) and play a key role in keeping Kaipara moving. You'll manage access to the district's road corridor by processing and coordinating vehicle crossings, Corridor Access Requests, and Traffic Management Plans. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and strong organisational skills make a real difference to the safety and efficiency of our roading network.

What You'll Do:

  • Process and manage CARs and TMPs, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation
  • Coordinate with contractors and inspectors for vehicle crossing permits and sign-offs
  • Prepare invoices and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding road closures and events
  • Support onsite inspections and audits as required

What You'll Bring:

Practical experience or strong interest in infrastructure and roading activities, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions. You'll be confident coordinating multiple tasks, solving problems on the go, and maintaining accuracy under pressure. Knowledge of roading maintenance, construction, or traffic management is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a full NZ driver licence are essential.
